Based on Multi-Med Therapy, the UNBLEMISH Regimen is a continuous solution that interrupts the acne process – clogged pores, trapped oil, bacterial attack, inflammation and hyperpigmentation. Because acne breakouts are continuously forming silently under the skin in acne-prone individuals, the multiple medicines in the UNBLEMISH Regimen must be used daily over the entire face to stop the acne process. Within days to just a few weeks (depending on the severity of your acne), blemishes will heal, marks will fade and skin will look healthy and clear.
Yes, each step of UNBLEMISH Regimen delivers a specific medicine to unplug pores, lighten and prevent post-acne marks, kill bacteria, reduce oil and protect with broad-spectrum sunscreen. Each step builds upon the last to address the complex issue of acne. Skipping any one of these steps can minimize results. In order to receive the benefits of the system, the entire regimen must be used on a consistent basis.
Everyone’s skin is different and for some people it may take longer to see results. Be patient. Initially you may experience more temporary breakouts as your skin cell turnover accelerates.
Most people see results in six to eight weeks with UNBLEMISH Regimen. However, if your acne is very significant, it may take as long as eight weeks for improvement.
You may not see all of the great changes that your skin is making right away. The longer you use the products, the more visible the results will be. If your skin does not respond within eight weeks or your acne is cystic and scarring, please see a dermatologist for additional treatment and more aggressive therapy.
Acne is not curable but it is treatable, controllable and preventable. If UNBLEMISH Regimen is helping clear your skin, stay on it. There is no limit to the length of time you can use UNBLEMISH Regimen. If you discontinue UNBLEMISH Regimen, your blemishes are likely to return because the causes are hormonal and genetic.
We designed UNBLEMISH to treat the entire acne cycle. For a significant number of acne sufferers, this includes PIH, the remnant brown marks that remain after a blemish has healed. If you are in this majority and are over 12 years of age, use UNBLEMISH Spot Fading Toner to lighten these unsightly marks. If you are one of the lucky few who does not battle PIH (or are under 12 years of age), use UNBLEMISH Clarifying Toner. Both toners also unclog pores, calm skin and prepare it for the treatments that follow.
If you are pregnant or nursing, we suggest that you contact your doctor before using any skincare routine.
An allergy to oral sulfa medications like Bactrim, Septra, Trimethoprim, or Sulfamethoxazole does not predispose one to an allergy to topical sulfur medications. If you are concerned about an allergy, you should consider trying a patch test before beginning to use your regimen. First, apply the UNBLEMISH Acne Treatment Sulfur Wash on a small area on the side of your neck for 30 seconds and then rinse it off. Repeat this three times a day for three days.
If you are experiencing a combination of itching, redness and swelling, this may be a sign of an allergic reaction and you should stop using the UNBLEMISH Acne Treatment Sulfur Wash immediately. Use over-the-counter hydrocortisone 1 percent cream and oral Benadryl as directed. If the reaction persists, consult your doctor. To find a complete list of ingredients to review, click here.
In place of the UNBLEMISH Acne Treatment Sulfur Wash, you may substitute the Rodan + Fields ANTI-AGE Daily Cleansing Mask or SOOTHE Gentle Cream Wash.
Rosacea is a flush/blush disorder with facial redness, broken capillaries and often, acne-like bumps. Although we do not treat or cure rosacea, we suggest using the SOOTHE™ Regimen to address the red, irritated and sensitive skin associated with rosacea. SOOTHE Regimen has been clinically tested on people with mild to moderate rosacea with effective results. Our SOOTHE Regimen contains gentle ingredients, OTC skin protectors and RFp3, a proprietary blend of peptides to shield against the environmental aggressors that trigger inflammation, breakouts and aging.
If your skin continues to break out, consider using the UNBLEMISH Regimen with Clarifying Toner to target specific skin issues in the acne cycle and deliver clinically-proven, visible results. When used consistently, blemishes will clear and you’ll reclaim the confidence of having luminous and healthy-looking skin. Clarifying Toner is alcohol-free to gently unplug pores with mild alpha-hydroxy acids and anti-oxidants calm the complexion and prepare skin for treatment.
The UNBLEMISH Regimen with Spot Fading Toner contains hydroquinone, which is not recommended for rosacea-prone or extremely sensitive skin.
If you have a known allergy to Benzoyl Peroxide and develop redness, itching and swelling, then you should not use UNBLEMISH Dual Intensive Acne Treatment.
Everyone’s skin is different and we want to ensure that your Rodan + Fields’ experience is a pleasant and effective one. Slight tightness or mild redness may indicate that your skin is probably just adjusting to the medicated ingredients in the regimen. This is a common initial side effect and means the medicines are working. This may last up to two weeks. If you experience dryness while using the UNBLEMISH Regimen, layer a moisturizer over UNBLEMISH Dual Intensive Acne Treatment such as SOOTHE Sensitive Skin Treatment or ESSENTIALS Moisturize with Melaslow.
You can also reduce your frequency of use and refer to the directions on the insert.
The UNBLEMISH Regimen with Spot Fading Toner contains 2 percent hydroquinone, which was specifically formulated to fade post-acne marks and reduce acne-induced redness. For stubborn dark marks or melasma you can also use the REVERSE Regimen. This complete skincare system fades brown spots, evens skin tone and protects from abnormal pigmentation. When combining both regimens, we recommend that you utilize the Solution Tool located on your Consultant’s Personal Website for recommendations similar to what Dr. Katie Rodan and Dr. Kathy Fields recommend for their patients. However, if you are looking for a product to heal true acne scars—for example, areas of thickening, indentations or pitting, then you need to see your dermatologist for assistance.
Yes, you may use the UNBLEMISH Regimen to address body acne as well. We suggest the following treatment two to three times a week. Glide ENHANCEMENTS Body Micro-Dermabrasion on damp skin over the area. Rinse the skin and pat dry. Layer the UNBLEMISH Acne Treatment Sulfur Wash on dry skin as a 10 minute pore-clearing mask. Rinse, pat dry and apply a lightweight moisturizer if skin feels dry.
i am in love and would love to help you as well…

This is the time of year when people pull out all the stops–the lips get bolder, the skin gets more luminous and the eyes range from seriously smoky to glitter encrusted. Yes, it’s the eyes that really become the focus of festive holiday dressing.
Make Your Waterline Pop
Lining your waterline is the quickest trick to take your look from day to night. During the holiday season though, why not get even more oomph out of your eyeliner? One festive option is to add a high pigment shade of blue, green or gold to just the lower waterline. Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils, em Michelle Phan Cosmetics Waterliners and Lime Crime Eyeliners will pop against the whites of your eyes (and last well past cocktail hour). If you just want the intensity, a good smudging of black will also make your eyes smolder.
Up Your Mascara Game
Basic black mascara is never going away, but an easy way to add interest to the eyes and complement the color of your pretty peepers is to swipe on colored mascara. Use Yves Saint Laurent Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils Waterproof in Signature Violet or Majorelle Blue to coat just the tips of the top and bottom eyelashes. Or go all out with Sephora Collection Glitter Eyeliner and Mascara and your eyelashes will be twinkling in the twinkle lights all night long.
When all else fails, never underestimate what highlighting the brow bone, inner corners of the eyes and the center of the eyelids can do to enhance your existing eye makeup. Champagne and pale peachy pinks are the obvious go-to’s, but use this time of year as an opportunity to take it a step further. Choose a frosty shade like Jouer Highlighter in Camellia or Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Intense Eyeshadow in White Punchand build up the shimmer until your eyes shine brighter than the fresh blanket of snow outside.
Will you use color or shimmer to enhance your eyes this season?

There are some makeup techniques that seem near impossible to perfect. Mascara application probably isn’t one of them. But believe it or not, there are a few fine points that you may be missing with each swipe of your mascara. Allow us to explain with a quick tutorial. Without further ado, here’s how to apply mascara the right way.
- Eyelash curler (big fan of Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler)
- Mascara (I used L’Oréal Voluminous Extra-Volume Collagen Mascara)
- Always curl your lashes. This is the most important step because it really changes the way your lashes look—with mascara and without. (Quick Tip: Run your eyelash curler under hot water or blast with the blow dryer for a few seconds to heat it up. This will help hold the curl. Just be sure to test the temperature on your hand before you hold the curler up to your eye.)
- Apply mascara to your bottom lashes first. If you’ve ever ended up with mascara dotted on your eyelid, you know the importance of the bottom first technique. Brush the wand down your eyelashes, being careful not to touch the brush to your eye.
- Now for the top eyelashes. Start as close to lash line as possible, and looking down, place the brush against your lashes. Give it a quarter turn so the brush can really grab the lashes and coat them completely. Then wiggle the wand back and forth up the length of your eyelashes.
- Repeat. Allow the mascara to dry between each coat.
For lush lashes, LA-based Makeup Artist Elle Leary likes to use a lengthening formula first and then a volumizing mascara for the second coat.
